About Drumfluence
Thank you for letting me entertain you over the last few years. It's been a privilege entertaining the drumming universe!
My name is Lance Rohde (Roady) and I have been playing for about 25 years. I don't think my journey has been a straight line at all. Probably just like yours.
Our Roots
I started Drumfluence because I have been told I have a taste for curating things. So I started sharing my favorite drummers as a passion project.
Now, I get many messages and I interact with them all. I help a lot of drummers looking to get better, or how to get their first gig. I have put my passion into 25 years of playing and dedication to the craft of drumming.
Though I'm not playing to pay the bills, I play every day with the goal to be 100% authentic to the musical environment of the song I play drums on. I record in my home studio daily and work on lesson plans to see my students succeed.
Thank YOU
Drumfluence helps me connect with you wonderful people. Drumfluence has shown me that I can do better. I want to create better music, I want to create better content that serves a purpose.
To help aid in bringing music and music education to people in need.
More to come...
My Bio as a drummer: Lance Rohde is a Las Vegas-based drummer & recording artist performing professionally for over a decade and featured on dozens of recordings, and tours. Originally from Los Angeles, he grew up in a city with a rich musical heritage and was known for producing great drummers
Lance's influences range from a mix of Soul-R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae, and Rock. His style incorporates expressive use of the kit, playing with a deep groove and playing from the heart. He knows how to learn what the artist needs from the song and how to stay out the way of a singer, always playing tastefully and for the feel of the song.
Lance has spent most of the past 20 years driving around California, to Texas, and finally to Las Vegas playing Casinos, dive bars, flatbed trailers in fields and everything in between, playing drums and guitar for blues, funk, and jazz acts, opening for some heroes, toasting with friends new and old and gaining valuable experience which would shape him to be the musician who he was to become.
Since 2017, Lance has moved to Vegas and have had the opportunity to share the stage with Rick Berthod, Guitar Shorty, Les Dudek, Carolyn Wonderland, Coco Montoya, Israel Joseph III, Commander Cody, and many others at venues such as Railhead at Boulder Station, House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, and the Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood.
Whether Lance is supporting the act he's playing within a smokey dive bar or on a larger stage, you’ll notice one thing: he cares a lot about the song and puts his heart and soul into his craft, giving 110% each and every time.
